Santa Clarita Company looking to hire CNC Machinist.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Possess knowledge of working properties of Aerospace metals and skill with machine tools to plan, Set-Up & carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet their precise specifications.
Knowledge of measuring instruments required for general machine shop use.
Use the proper measuring tools in order to check the accuracy of their work against blueprints.
Have the ability to set-up & operate Manual Lathes, Mills, other machine shop equipment.
Able to read blueprints.
Adhere to safe operating procedures.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years using HAAS controls (mill and lathe)
Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.
Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach .0005" -.001" of an inch).
Mathematical machining skills required.
Proficient working with Haas lathes and Mills.
Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
Ability to create subroutines in MDI.
Must have knowledge in editing programs to meet certain part requirements.
Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.
Proficient in fixture and part setup.
Skilled using various gaging equipment (od id micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages etc.)
A solid background in reading drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5 standards.
