Shift lead (forklift)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Team Lead to guide our warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy in all material handling activities, from receiving to shipping. Must have demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills, Proven forklift experience, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Shift: 12 hour night shift: 6pm-6:30am on a set rotating schedule working 3-4 days per week. Pay: $20-22 per hour to start based on exiprence and interview Does this sound like your next career move? Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision: Directs team, coordinates daily workflow, assigns tasks, and provides motivation.
** Safety & Compliance:** Conducts safety checks, enforces protocols, reports malfunctions, and ensures a clean, safe environment (e.g., OSHA).
Training & Development: Trains new operators, provides guidance on best practices, and conducts skill checks.
Operations: Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and picks product using forklifts and pallet jacks; assists with inventory/cycle counts.
Communication: Acts as a liaison, reports issues, and communicates goals to the team and management.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoots equipment, labor, or material shortages

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends

Skills

Supervisor/Coach (2 years of experience is required)

Sit Down Forklifts (2 years of experience is required)

Time Management (2 years of experience is required)
