Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator I to join our team on the 3rd Shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM . In this role, you will operate manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machines including saws, mills, and lathes.

• Identify various material types used in the department and adjust equipment as needed.

• Recognize worn tooling and perform changes in the machine as required.

• Verify the accuracy of completed products or batch inspections.

• Report defective materials, discrepancies, or process malfunctions to the Department Lead.

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.

• Complete all necessary paperwork, including in-process or carbon copy production sheets.

Essential Skills

• Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations.

• Mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in CNC machining.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required.

• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC, Lathe, Mill, Blueprint, Micrometer.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
