Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Do you have a spark for working with electrical and mechanical components? We have an exciting opportunity for anIndustrial Maintenance Electricianat our state-of-the-art facility in Rome, GA. This is a night shift position, working from 5pm to 5am, Sunday - Tuesday, and every other Wednesday with flexibility. The starting pay for this role is $40.91 per hour.  

You will be partnering with Operations, Quality Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety personnel. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying Your PLC Knowledge– Alternating between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair, with a firm focus on programmable logic controllers.
• Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions– Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, interpreting schematics and drawings, and repairing electrical & mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors.
• Prioritizing Innovation and Communication– Actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, while maintaining an open dialogue with lead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day, with occasional lifting up to 50lbs
• An active Journeyman license (electrical) or PLC experience
