Location: Southington, CT
Shift: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Pay: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Adecco is seeking a Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Southington, CT. What You'll Do

• Perform basic machining operations using assigned machine tools

• Inspect parts using measuring tools and report out-of-tolerance situations

• Obtain first-piece inspection approval before proceeding and conduct periodic inspections

• Prepare and maintain records and reports as required

• Maintain quality standards and a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and personal protective equipment requirements

• Operate equipment safely and participate as a member of work teams

• Assist in measuring team performance for safety, quality, and cost improvements

• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and procedures to assemble products accurately

• Perform microscope inspections on assembled parts

• Maintain inventory of products in workstations

• Perform quality checks and document defects when identified

• Attend required training and participate in 5S activities

• Assist in training other associates on procedures and equipment use

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and remain productive under indirect supervision

• Basic mathematical aptitude

• Ability to use inspection equipment and precision tools

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain productive on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to handle repetitive motions and use hands for assembly tasks

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed

Pay Details: $18.50 to $20.00 per hour
