The Opportunity Are you a skilled craftsman who takes pride in seeing your work displayed across the skylines of America? Randstad is partnering with a premier national leader in architectural signage and custom branding solutions to find an experienced Aluminum Welder/Fabricator for their Concord facility.
This isn't high-volume, repetitive steel welding. This is custom, high-precision fabrication where quality and aesthetics are just as important as structural integrity. You will be responsible for bringing complex designs to life, working primarily with aluminum to create custom sign cabinets, architectural accents, and intricate structural frames. What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 2+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience (Aluminum experience is a firm requirement).
- Technical Skill: Must be proficient in MIG welding on aluminum. Proficiency in TIG is highly preferred.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read "shop drawings" and translate them into a finished physical product.
- The "Signage Edge": Previous experience in sign manufacturing or architectural metalwork is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Precision Welding: Execute high-quality MIG welds on aluminum (0.63 to .125 gauge and structural) ensuring clean, structural, and aesthetically pleasing seams.
- Custom Fabrication: Read and interpret complex blueprints and shop drawings to cut, bend, and assemble custom components.
- Material Expertise: Work exclusively with aluminum, utilizing shop equipment such as brake presses, shears, and saws.
- Quality Craftsmanship: Grind and finish welds to meet high-end architectural standards-your work is the "face" of the brand.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a team of engineers and designers to ensure every custom project is built to exact specifications.
