Position: Engineer Industrial 3.
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Duration: 12-months contract position with a possibility to go extended.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules, integrating multiple program schedule requests into one executable schedule for production teams.
• Resolve conflicts between competing programs for common resources.
• Advise management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production issues.
• Create, maintain, and update network-based Master Production Schedules for E-6B programs.
• Understand critical path schedule networks, driven by logic, durations, and date constraints.
• Work with IMP/IMS schedule structures and Work Breakdown Structures.
• Export schedule data to Excel for weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
• Conduct critical path analysis and resource loading for labor and materials.
• Align program schedules with MRP/ERP and MES systems.
• Independently manage tasks while contributing to the program team's success.
• Analyze operations to improve efficiencies and design workflows for optimal production.
• Conduct cost control, inventory control, and facility modification studies to improve productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience.
• High energy, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to follow through.
• Proactive, self-directed, and a team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn from mistakes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results across various levels of the organization.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret DoD clearance.
• Experience working on new programs.
