Position: Forklift Mechanic
Location: Paterson, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:15 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25-$40 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to service, diagnose, and repair forklifts and similar machinery. This is a mobile role requiring travel to customer locations throughout New Jersey and occasionally New York, using a company-provided van.
Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair forklifts and related industrial equipment
Travel to customer sites daily using a company vehicle
Determine necessary repairs and perform them efficiently
Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and solutions
Complete service documentation as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience repairing forklifts or similar machinery (REQUIRED)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong communication skills in English (some Spanish is a plus)
Ability to interact professionally with customers
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
7:15 AM to 3:30 PM

Compensation:

$25 to $40 per hour, based on experience
