Job Title: Boiler Operator (6 month Assignment)
Location: Somerset, NJ
Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boiler Operator to join our team in Somerset, NJ. The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of high-pressure boilers in accordance with state and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and related equipment.
• Monitor boiler operations, maintain accurate logs, and perform routine inspections.
• Adjust controls to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and safety.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Test water quality and add chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies or breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams as necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Valid state Blue Seal Boiler License.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required.
