DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic on 1st shift! Join the team of a local transportation and warehousing company maintaining a diverse fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, and tractor-trailers. Ideal candidates will have experience with International and Freightliner models.Compensation:$25+/hour, based on experience level
Full benefits package
Annual boot and tool reimbursement program
Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Voluntary overtime available on the weekend
Responsibilities:Maintain and repair vehicles such as trucks, heavy equipment, and tractor-trailers
Plan and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
Perform diagnostic tests and evaluate vehicle parts and systems to identify issues
Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' experience as a diesel mechanic
Experience working on International and Freightliner models preferred
Ability to perform diagnostic tests and repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems and components
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
