Estimator Position

A highly-respected general contractor in the area with a backlog of projects is seeking an estimator to join their growing team. This commercial construction company is looking for an estimator with excellent people skills and proven work history with commercial construction projects. Being a team player as well as being able to work autonomously is a must!

Estimator Responsibilities:

• Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction including labor and material costs
• Utilize conceptual design and value engineering as needed
• Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans
• Developing and managing estimates on multiple, simultaneous projects
• Work with clients, owners, field personnel, and design teams, while also being able to work autonomously

Estimator Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects
• B.S. in construction management or a related degree is strongly preferred
• Effective communication, attention to detail, ability to analyze and organize data in a timely manner
• Experience with Procore and estimating software is needed.
• Project experience: diverse commercial construction
