Job Description

Join our team as a general production worker, where you will primarily engage in custom tube bending, operating machinery to handle square tubes, solid bars, or round tubes. This role demands a keen attention to detail, especially if you have experience in quality checks or inventory management. Your main task will involve repetitive processes, setting up machines to cut tubes to specific lengths, and repeating the process until a changeover is required. We provide a comprehensive training program to ensure all candidates are thoroughly prepared and comfortable in their roles, including the use of a digital micrometer, which can be learned in just one day.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery for custom tube bending, including square, solid, and round tubes.

• Perform repetitive tasks involving machine setup and operation.

• Conduct quality checks and ensure precision in measurements.

• Utilize digital micrometers and other measurement tools.

• Adhere to detailed training procedures and operational guidelines.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience or machine assistant experience.

• Experience with forklifts is preferred.

• Basic ability to read a tape measure is preferred but not required.

• Previous manufacturing experience, whether in a machine shop, skilled trades, or related fields.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts.

• Experience with measuring tools, possibly from any past job or school projects.

• Experience in a shop environment or previous machine operation experience.

• Experience operating a saw is a plus.

The weekend shift hours are Thursday through Sunday from 5 am to 5 pm one week, and Friday through Sunday from 5 am to 5 pm the following week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
