Monday - Friday
First Shift - 7am - 3:30pm

Duties:

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to process metal materials, including cutting, piercing, and etching as required.
• Review and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and production instructions to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Plan and organize cutting sequences based on provided drawings and work orders.
• Load, position, and secure sheet metal materials prior to performing cutting operations.
• Request assistance when handling large, heavy, or oversized material.
• Inspect completed parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify accuracy and quality.
• Adjust machine settings, including lens selection and parameters, to accommodate different materials and thicknesses.
• Perform minor adjustments, alignment, or rework on parts that do not initially meet inspection standards.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues or irregularities to supervision.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience operating a Laser or similar metal-cutting machine.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Ability to work in a standing position for up to 6 hours.
Lift up to 40 pounds with or without assistance, bend, twist and reach.
Ability to grip, twist wrist and tighten hands.
Must be able to pass drug and background check
