Position Summary
We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Production Operators to join our growing team in Matteson, IL. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly line for BMS (Battery Management Systems) used in electric vehicles and ESS. This is a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of high-tech electronic components.
Key Responsibilities
- SMT Line Operations: Load and replenish component reels (resistors, capacitors, ICs) into feeders for Chip Mounters and Screen Printers.
- Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) to identify defects such as missing components, misalignment, or solder bridges.
- Machine Monitoring: Monitor automated equipment (Reflow Ovens, AOI machines) and report any technical issues to the maintenance team.
- Testing Support: Operate functional test fixtures (FCT/ICT) to ensure the electronic integrity of finished BMS units.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs and input yield data into the MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Safety & 5S: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred (Electronics or Automotive industry is a plus).
- Skills: * Basic computer literacy for data entry.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling small electronic parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency (Bilingual in Korean is a plus but not required).
