We are looking for an elite Automotive Technician with extensive expertise in vehicle flashing, programming, and advanced diagnostics of European vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute OEM-level vehicle programming, flashing, coding, and module configuration.
- Diagnose complex electrical systems, network issues, and drivability problems.
- Utilize advanced factory and aftermarket scan tools for bi-directional testing and software updates.
- Reprogram modules post-repairs or replacements (including ECMs, TCMs, BCMs, ADAS).
- Stay ahead of evolving vehicle technologies, software updates, and OEM procedures.
- Collaborate with service advisors and leadership to ensure precise diagnostics and optimized repair processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, including at least 2 years focused on European vehicles in a dealership or independent Euro shop.
- Proficient in using ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic programming systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle programming, flashing, and module coding.
- Strong knowledge of automotive networks, electronics, and diagnostic methodologies.
- Proficient with both OEM and aftermarket scan tools.
- Able to research service information and adhere to OEM programming protocols.
- ASE Certifications are preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Capable of working with tools on vehicles lifted above head.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterous enough to utilize hand tools effectively.
- Must be able to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating computer systems efficiently.
