Job Description

We are hiring 2 Fire Sprinkler Mechanics and 2 Junior Mechanics. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, ensuring the safety and compliance of each project. Your role will include plumbing and fire sprinkler installations, dropping heads, and setting main lines.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler lines and drop heads.

• Conduct plumbing and fire sprinkler installations.

• Solder plumbing pipes and connect fittings.

• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installation.

• Rough in commercial plumbing pipes and connect sewer, sanitary, and water lines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in plumbing and fire sprinkler installation.

• Experience with PVC piping and sprinkler systems.

• Capability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing blueprints.

• Commercial plumbing and soldering experience.

• Must have 4-10+ years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Installer

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.

• SST 10 certification.

Work Environment

Located in Port Chester NY, the job site features 4-5 massive floors spanning 60,000 square feet. Work involves plumbing rough-in from floor to floor and finish work. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a coffee break and half-hour lunch. This is a highly compliant job site, requiring physical copies of SST. Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Rochelle, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.50/hr.
