2nd shift Production Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate Machine Operator

Location: Haleyville, AL

Pay Range: $17.50/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (some overtime may be required at times)

What's the Job?

• Operate machinery required for specific production tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including training new and existing operators.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met, monitoring for consistency.
• Perform measurements and weight checks to maintain product specifications.
• Assemble products according to instructions, focusing on quality and safety.
• Practice Masonite Lean Manufacturing Techniques including 5S+1 to optimize workflow and safety.

What's Needed?

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, and interpret measurements accurately.
• High level of dexterity and manual skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform repetitive tasks including standing for long hours, bending, and twisting.
