Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of land development and public works projects, from concept through construction.
Supervise and mentor engineering designers, including assigning daily work, conducting reviews, and ensuring quality control.
Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and public agency personnel, acting as the primary point of contact.
Lead the preparation of plans, technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects.

Design Experience Should Include

Municipal street design
Drainage systems, water mains, and sanitary sewers
ADA-compliant sidewalks
Other municipal infrastructure systems

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in land development and/or public works engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
California PE license preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships.
Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
