Maintenance Electrical Technician (Licensed Electrician)

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the rigid film industry, is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Technician (Licensed Electrician) Location: Newcastle, DE Pay Range: $30/hour $38+/hour Shift: Swing Shift (must be willing to work on-call)

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Diagnose problems using observation, precision measuring, and testing instruments.
• Tear down and rebuild machinery and componentsnot just wiring tasks.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; prepare reports and documentation.

What's Needed?

• MUST be a Licensed Electrician (Master License highly desired but not required).
• Ideally licensed in Delaware or able to transfer and obtain Delaware license within 36 months of hire.
• Industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to tear down and rebuild components, parts, and machinerynot just wire pulling.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
