CNC Programmer

Insight Global is looking to hire a CNC Programmer in Hickory, NC to support prototype and production machining efforts. This individual will translate engineering drawings into CNC programs for lathes and mills, determine machining strategies to improve efficiency, and support prototype builds from concept through validation. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and revising CNC programs, setting up and running parts as needed, troubleshooting machining and quality issues, and supporting operators during production. This role will also maintain setup documentation, ensure revision control, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to machining processes and tooling. This role offers a compensation range of $75-90k aligned with experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience programming CNC machines (lathes and mills, including multi-axis)
- Proficiency with CAM software (GibbsCAM preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience editing and troubleshooting G-Code
- Hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines
