Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for building and maintaining reliable equipment? Integrity Trade Services is seeking a dedicated Construction Hoist Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe, efficient, and dependable operation of construction hoists and related machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform precise mechanical assembly and repairs.
• Assemble construction hoists, lift cars, and associated mechanical components in accordance with detailed specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical systems, including drive units, gearboxes, brakes, rollers, and structural elements.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements to optimize equipment longevity.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to execute work accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and determine effective repair strategies.
• Assist with teardown, rebuild, and refurbishment projects of hoist equipment to maintain operational standards.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Participate actively in safety meetings, contributing to ongoing improvement of safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in adherence to company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of mechanical experience, preferably with construction equipment, automotive, or industrial machinery.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift, reach, stoop, and work safely around heavy equipment.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer:

• Full-time, competitive wages starting at $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience. If you show exemplary skill during the probationary period, you could make upwards of $30/hours
• Union position with entry into a comprehensive apprenticeship program through Local 701 Automobile Mechanics Union.

• IL Paid Leave for All Workers

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

• 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
