CNC Machinist

Job Overview

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications. Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

• Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• Loading raw materials and parts onto machines

• Performing test runs and verifying outputs meet specifications

• Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results

• Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality

• Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment

• Documenting quality and quantity of produced parts

What will help you thrive in this role?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

• Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school or technical college (required)

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery and using precision measurement tools

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering documents

• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills

• Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
