If you're a skilled GibbsCAM programmer who enjoys solving complex machining challenges, this is a place where your expertise will shine. What You'll Do

• Program complex parts using GibbsCAM for multiaxis CNC machines
• Set up and operate advanced equipment, including:
  • HAAS UMC 500SS (5axis highspeed milling)
  • Puma TT2100SYYB (twinspindle, twinturret lathe with Yaxis)
  • Doosan LYNX 2100LSY (subspindle lathe with live tooling)
  • CITIZEN Miyano BNE65MYY (Swissstyle turning with dual Yaxis)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability (DFM)
• Support quoting and time estimation using blueprints and CAD models
• Conduct firstarticle inspections and maintain tight tolerances (±0.0002")
• Design custom fixtures and select tooling to optimize cycle times
• Mentor junior machinists as needed
• Work independently in a fastpaced, highprecision environment

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• 3+ years in a programming role
• Strong proficiency with GibbsCAM
• Experience with 5axis, multispindle, and multiturret machines
• Deep understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision metrology
• Experince in aerospace, medical device, or automotive machining
• Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience
• ERP or quoting software familiarity
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma training
• OSHA or GD&T certifications

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Shakopee, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
