Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for supporting production operations at the end of the sawing machine line. Your primary duties will include stacking and assembling cut lumber pieces, following on-screen instructions, and connecting boards to form wooden roof frames. Once completed, trusses will be organized and stacked for delivery and inventory purposes. This position involves general production responsibilities, including being cross-trained in operating a forklift, assembling various components, and assisting with reassembly tasks as needed. You will also use basic hand tools periodically throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Stack and assemble cut lumber pieces according to on-screen instructions.

• Connect boards to form wooden roof frames.

• Organize and stack completed trusses for delivery and inventory purposes.

• Operate a forklift as needed.

• Assist with reassembly tasks and use basic hand tools throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in lumber or roofing is a plus.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with fans in the summer and heaters in the winter. The role involves mostly indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks. The schedule is for the 2nd Shift, from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime as needed and flexibility in hours worked.

This is a Contract position based out of El Reno, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $16.50/hr.
