job summary:
Seeking a degreed engineer to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated developing next-generation chemical, biological, and nuclear (CBRN) detection systems. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, prototyping, and testing of integrated hardware for DoD reconnaissance vehicles and unmanned systems, ensuring mission-critical situational awareness on the battlefield.

responsibilities:

Developing rugged mechanical and electromechanical solutions for CBRN sensors, including vehicle mounts, storage systems, and deployment mechanisms
Rapidly creating and testing physical prototypes to ensure they survive battlefield conditions and meet strict military standards
Ensuring detection hardware interfaces seamlessly with DoD reconnaissance vehicle platforms, unmanned systems (drones), and operator control interfaces
Managing the engineering lifecycle from initial requirements and CAD modeling (SolidWorks) through to production release and field support
Working within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to integrate complex sensors with motor controls and vehicle architecture
