Express is seeking a Fitter/Welder for a company in Zelienople, PA! This role focuses on tack welding, fabricating assemblies, and producing high-quality welds while maintaining safety and efficiency in the shop.

Pay: Starting at $24.50/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday
2:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Job Description:

Tack assemblies together according to specifications and drawings
Review blueprints, weld details, and project instructions
Set up welding machines and required equipment
Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding to required standards
Ensure completed welds meet quality and fabrication standards
Follow all safety procedures and identify potential safety concerns
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, including maintaining organized work areas (5S)
Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements

What You Bring

Minimum 2 years of MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding experience
Strong fabrication experience required
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret weld drawings, procedures, and shop travelers
Ability to pass AWS D1.1 welding qualifications (AWS D14.6 if applicable)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and wear required PPE including respirators and safety boots
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and improve
