Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder Job Description

This role involves 80% MIG and 20% TIG welding on mild and stainless steel. Additionally, you will engage in some fabrication tasks including assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending. The work environment is more akin to a job shop rather than production welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild and stainless steel.

• Engage in fabrication tasks such as assembly, measuring, cutting, and bending.

• Interpret and work from blueprints to complete welding tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.

• 1 year of experience in TIG welding.

• Ability to work with stainless and mild steel.

• Experience in fabrication and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of MIG welding experience.

Work Environment

Work the second shift from 3pm to 1:30am, four days a week (4-10s). Overtime is available in a clean and organized shop. The department has 12 welders when fully staffed, and there are a total of 75 employees including office staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
