Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler whose main responsibility will be soldering wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other components. The role involves mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies, and testing assemblies using a multi-meter primarily to measure resistance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, maintain organization, and follow instructions meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Solder wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other components.

• Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies.

• Test assemblies using a multi-meter to measure resistance.

• Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.

• Maintain organization and follow instructions accurately.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience with soldering (3+ years).

• Knowledge in electronics, manufacturing, or assembly industry.

• Ability to read assembly drawings and schematics.

• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ISO/AS quality systems.

• IPC 610 and/or 620 and J Standard Certification.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Good hand dexterity and ability to use small tools.

• Attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ewing, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
