Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st/2nd Shift

1st or 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

$28-$35/hr

Must be open to working a temporary role - position may become permanent

The client is in the process of changing from 8 hour shifts to 12 hour shifts - Mandatory overtime for the foreseeable future

Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer for 1st or 2nd shift, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the production facility, equipment, and offices. You will perform various tasks including plumbing, electrical, and instrumentation work, along with preventive maintenance on plant process equipment, HVAC units, boilers, thermal oil heaters, air compressors, cooling towers, buildings, and offices.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance on various plant process equipment.
• Complete and document daily boiler and cooling water testing.
• Monitor and maintain boilers and prepare them for inspections.
• Maintain the building exterior, interior, and grounds.
• Oversee any contractors working at the site.
• Make recommendations on improvements of equipment and processes and oversee accomplishing those improvements.
• Order and stock parts and tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and usable maintenance work area at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in managing moving mechanical parts and addressing risks such as electrical shock, trip, and slip hazards.

• Comfortable working in environments with potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
