Job Site Foreman / Finish Carpenter

A Finish Carpenter or Foreman at our client is a dynamic, multi-talented individual who's adept at coordinating job site activities, managing projects from start to finish, and performing high-quality carpentry work. You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, from ordering materials to supervising crew members and subcontractors. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while upholding the company's high standards.

Responsibilities:
Team and Subcontractor Oversight: Directly supervise crew, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day issues. Schedule and oversee work performed by subcontractors, ensuring everything meets project specifications and quality standards.

Project Documentation and Communication: Maintain precise project files in BuilderTrend, including time logs and schedules. Proactively communicate any out-of-scope work or change orders to the project manager.

Hands-on Finish Carpentry: When not actively managing the job site, you'll perform a wide range of finish carpentry tasks, including framing, installing windows and doors, deck construction, and custom trim work for both new builds and remodels.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work, whether completed by the crew or subcontractors, meets the stringent quality standards.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Software Proficiency: Experience with BuilderTrend software is a significant plus.

Communication: Effective and respectful communication with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Carpentry Expertise: Minimum of five years of experience in finish carpentry, with proven skills in rough framing, window and door installation, and custom trim work.

Technical Knowledge: Must be able to read and interpret construction blueprints and understand the technical specifications of materials and equipment.

Organizational Prowess: Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage complex schedules and project files.
