Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $23 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Welder / Fabricator:

• Perform welding tasks on metal components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications

• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning parts

• Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications

• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe working environment

• Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools

• Record and report any issues or discrepancies in welding tasks

• Assembly of chillers, Brazing of fittings, Welding

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Previous welding experience needed

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols

• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina

• Possess acute attention to detail

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Basic knowledge of welding

• Lift/move up to 50 pound

• Previous history of consistent attendance with the ability to be at work on time on a daily basis

• Must have mechanical skills and basic knowledge of welding
