Mechanic II

Direct hire, full-time, days, Monday-Friday. Competitive salary based on experience. Overtime opportunity available. Setting: Healthcare Facilities Management. Generous PTO with excellent benefits package. Location: Penn Yan, NY and Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes Region).

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, repairs and operates all building support equipment and maintenance tools and equipment. Assists in the installation of facilities equipment.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum: High School Education or equivalent.

License: Minimum: Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with Health Network Policy.

Professional Certifications: Minimum: CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.

Work Experience: Minimum: Two years in building operations and maintenance. Preferred: Prior patient observation and/or security related experience; healthcare.

Skills: Minimum: Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner, and to deal effectively with stressful situations. Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
