Mechanic

EMCOR Hyre Electric Co of Indiana, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintain diesel and gasoline powered construction equipment and vehicles and assist as a delivery driver to support project jobsites. Good driving record and CDL License REQUIRED (Class B minimum). Applicants with Military experience are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered equipment and vehicles.
• Make repairs in a conscious and timely manner.
• Report to the Shop Manager all problems and potential issues that arise.
• Prompt and accurate completion of work orders in a legible manner.
• Regularly check all vehicles and equipment due for maintenance.
• Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
• Assist as a delivery driver to support project jobsites.

Position Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience working on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Flexible work schedule
• Good driving record, ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• CDL License REQUIRED (Class B minimum)
• Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to remote field locations.
