HVAC Maintenance Technician

Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd
Compensation: $27.20/hr - $38.55/hr

Sign-on Bonus: $3,000

Your Role Will Involve:

• Responding to radio calls from various departments (Production, Food Safety, etc.) for maintenance-related actions
• Communicating effectively with other teams to ensure smooth transition of maintenance information
• Documenting daily tasks using both paper and our maintenance management system (SAP)
• Troubleshooting and repairing complex production equipment
• Utilizing inventory to source parts for repairs and accurately documenting issued parts
• Identifying issues and providing improvement suggestions for operational processes
• Implementing modifications to boost equipment performance
• Contacting equipment vendors for troubleshooting assistance and parts research
• Using hand tools for production machinery maintenance
• Ensuring food safety, quality, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping
• Reading, writing, and effectively communicating in English
• Performing basic computer tasks
• Executing basic TIG welding tasks

Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training and certification from Refrigeration Engineers & Technicians (RETA) and International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR)
• Experience with regulated Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
• Background in electrical or mechanical systems
• Familiarity with boiler operations
• Experience with air compressors
