Logistics Specialist (Junior-Level Freight Forwarder)
Direct Hire | Full-Time | On-Site (Baltimore, Maryland)
Salary:

• $45,000-$50,000 for junior-level candidates
• $50,000-$60,000 for candidates with direct Freight Forwarding experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Worksite: In-person - Baltimore, Maryland

Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will support day-to-day logistics tasks while serving as a key point of contact for customers, sales, and internal operations teams.
You will gain exposure to the full life cycle of freight movement and play a critical role in maintaining smooth, efficient service across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact for customers, managing their service experience and building strong relationships.
• Perform daily operations tasks including tracking, tracing, quoting, data entry , and shipment coordination.
• Communicate closely with the sales team, customers, carriers, and internal staff to support seamless workflow.
• Assist with coordinating freight across trucking, warehouse, forwarding, and brokerage channels.
• Update stakeholders on service changes, shipment status, and issue resolution.

Who We're Looking For

• Understanding of basic domestic transportation and logistics fundamentals-customer service experience highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse internal and external team.
• Flexible, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Eager to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
