Shop worker / mechanical assembler

Are you a hands-on individual with a knack for precision? We are looking for a motivated Shop Worker to join our production team in Bohemia. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building tangible products and has a foundation in mechanical assembly.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems and components according to project specifications.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete daily tasks.
• Perform precise measurements to ensure all parts meet quality standards.
• Work collaboratively within a shop environment to meet production deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Blueprint Reading: Must be able to accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Assembly Experience: Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing setting performing mechanical assembly.
• Measurement Proficiency: ability to use measuring tools (calipers, rulers, tape measures) with high accuracy.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with a wide range of manual and pneumatic tools.

salary: $24 - $25 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
education: High School
