Quality Inspector - $23-$28/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Asheville, NC Area
Full-Time | Permanent Opportunity
A precision manufacturing company in the Asheville area is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support their engineering and production teams. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet strict quality standards through careful inspection, measurement, and documentation.

What You'll Be Doing
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify new parts meet design specifications
• Conduct in-process and final inspections during production
• Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
• Inspect products received from outside vendors to ensure they meet quality standards
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Communicate with machinists and operators to resolve quality issues and improve processes
• Help maintain compliance with the company's Quality Management System and ISO standards

• Experience in manufacturing quality inspection or quality assurance
• Ability to read measurements and use precision inspection tools
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfortable working closely with production and engineering teams
• Knowledge of ISO standards or quality systems is a plus
• Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
