Maintenance Technician

Location: Monroe, WI Shift: 3rd Shift

Hourly Pay Range top and bottom range:

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $28.92 $38.32 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for shift differential (10% 15%) based on shift worked.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 PM 5:30 AM; overtime and weekends as required

About the Role:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation focused on maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a safe and efficient manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment uptime and supporting production goals through preventative maintenance and timely repairs. This is a hands-on position with strong visibility across operations, offering opportunities to grow technical skills in electrical systems, PLCs, and maintenance practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, including sanitation-related maintenance activities
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, PMs, and related activities
• Collaborate with production and leadership teams to prioritize and execute repairs
• Assist with sourcing parts and materials needed for maintenance work
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently within a fast-paced production environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• Basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of PLC systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across mechanical and electrical systems
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar regulated environments
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and sanitary systems
• TIG welding or fabrication experience
