Punch Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Punch Press Operator - 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.26 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What you’ll do:

In this function, you will:

• Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.

• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.

• Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.

• Read work orders to determine specifications.

• Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.

• Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior press brake operating experience.

• Prior assembly experience.

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Success Criteria:

• Must be able to obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
