Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 10+ years of experience to oversee high-value capital and construction initiatives at the Shippensburg facility. This role requires a heavy-hitter who balances technical construction oversight with rigorous Capital Management and financial discipline. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Capital Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of capital improvement projects, managing multi-million dollar budgets and ensuring maximum ROI.
- Construction Oversight: Direct on-site construction activities, coordinating with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure site safety and blueprint adherence.
- Strategic Financial Management: Track project expenditures, manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) workflows, and maintain strict cost control to prevent budget overruns.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify structural and financial risks early; develop robust mitigation plans and ensure all projects meet local building codes and safety regulations.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Lifecycle Documentation: From Project Charters to Post-Mortem Evaluations, maintain meticulous documentation of milestones, change orders, and quality audits.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive Project Management experience, specifically within Construction or Industrial Capital Projects.
- Certification: Must hold an Intermediate Project Manager Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2).
- Financial Acumen: Proven track record in Capital Management, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Technical Skillset: Expert-level proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore) and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Communication: Elite interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and present data-driven updates to stakeholders.
