About the Role
As a Machinist, you will set up and operate multiple CNC and manual machines —including Lathes, Mills, Swiss, and OD/ID Grinders—to produce precision metal components. You’ll perform supporting operations, complete first‑piece inspections, interpret engineering drawings, and help maintain a top‑tier production environment built on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC/Manual equipment: Lathes, Mills, Swiss, OD/ID Grinders
Perform manual material removal, deburring, and sub‑assembly tasks
Conduct first‑piece inspections and assist colleagues with inspection processes
Interpret engineering blueprints and apply basic GD&T
Inspect finished components using calipers, gauges, and various measuring devices
Document inspection results per SOP requirements
Maintain an organized, safe workspace by applying 5S principles
Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation
Hands‑on experience with CNC Mills and Lathes
Familiarity with GD&T principles
Proficiency using measuring equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.)
Experience operating Okuma and Fanuc machine controls
Preferred Qualifications
2–3+ years of CNC machining experience (Mills/Lathes)
Experience in high‑volume, low‑mix production environments
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to meet daily production goals while maintaining top‑tier quality

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
