CNC Machinist - Mill/Turn Set-Up

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate Mill/Turn machines-specifically Index machines with dual and tri-turret configurations. This role involves working from short- to medium-run production blueprints, performing precision machining, and maintaining exceptional quality standards in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Index Mill/Turn machines (dual/tri-turret, dual-spindle)

• CAD/CAM Software edits

• Perform full setups: speeds/feeds, tool changes, block/parameter setting, G & M code edits

• Run parts using short/medium-run blueprints

• Hold tolerances around ±0.0003

• Perform in-process inspections and monitor machining quality

Essential Skills

• Proficiency operating Mill/Turn machines, especially dual-turret and dual-spindle setups.

• Ability to perform CAD/CAM software edits.

• Strong understanding of G & M codes.

• Experience in both prototype and production machining.

• Solid knowledge of GD&T.

Shift Options

• 1st Shift: Flexible schedule - choose 4x10s or 5x8s

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:15 PM-1:45 AM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
