Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Test Technician to join our team for the 1st Shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The position involves full functional integration of engineered solutions, performing complex system tests, and providing technical support in a manufacturing environment. This role is situated in a clean, temperature controlled facility. The environment encourages collaboration and communication with engineering and project management teams.

System Integration & Testing

• Independently integrate engineered solutions into full system functionality.

• Configure, calibrate, and operate test equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Conduct complex system tests using electronic tools, transducers, data logging, and acquisition equipment.

• Record, analyze, and troubleshoot test results; rework malfunctions as needed.

• Develop repeatable test procedures and best practices for assemblies and equipment calibration.

Hydraulics & Fluid Systems Expertise

• Experience in hydraulics, valves, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of pressure testing, fluid dynamics, leakage, flow, friction, and pressure principles.

• Ability to identify and adjust parameters in hydraulic circuits.

• Comprehensive knowledge of complex hydraulic equipment and electronic systems.

Assembly & Technical Support

• Perform occasional assembly tasks using mechanical skills, hand tools, and power tools.

• Provide technical support, including advanced testing at external facilities.

• Verify new production assembly and test procedures; recommend process improvements.

• Communicate test issues with engineering and project management for resolution.

Documentation & Interpretation

• Interpret blueprints, hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and test specifications.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures and calibration guidelines.

Measurement & Tools Proficiency

• Skilled in the use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and gauging instruments.

• Proficient in measurement conversions and fluids theory.

• Capable of independently setting up test fixtures and equipment.

Work Environment

Work within a manufacturing environment that utilizes cutting-edge technologies and equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and standards, with a focus on precision and quality. Dress appropriately for a manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
