Bilingual Forklift Operator

We are looking for experienced forklift operators for various positions in the Baton Rouge area. Our current available positions do require someone who is bilingual! YOU WILL NEED TO SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH FOR THIS POSITION! Some of our positions will be heavily dependent on forklift operation while some of our positions may be less forklift intensive, but they will still require Forklift experience and certification!!

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely.
• Inspect and maintain the forklift, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and handling materials.
• Conduct routine checks on the forklift's functionality, such as fuel and fluid levels, tires, and brakes.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to the handling and storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, including inventory counts

Requirements:

• 3 years of previous experience working on a forklift is REQUIRED!
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a precise and controlled manner, even in tight spaces.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and record-keeping.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
