Oil & Gas Field Construction (Rig-Up Technician) - Weekly Pay

Position Overview
As a Water Operator, you'll support field construction activities related to water transfer systems used in drilling and completions. This includes rigging up lines, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient water movement across the site. Work is performed 67 days per week, typically 6080 hours, with opportunities for per diem. Day and night shifts are available, and operations continue in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and rig up 6-inch and 10-inch poly, yellow mine, and aluminum water transfer lines
- Monitor pumps, tanks, hoses, and all field equipment involved in water transfer
- Use hand tools and select power tools to support construction and rig?up tasks
- Walk water lines to identify leaks, pressure issues, or equipment failures
- Maintain frac tank levels to ensure adequate water supply for operations
- Perform general labor duties to support the water transfer and rig?up process
- Communicate effectively via radio, cell, or satellite devices depending on site requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ months experience in oil & gas (water transfer, rig?up/rig?down, or roustabout work)
- 6+ months experience in outdoor labor or construction
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Oil & gas industry experience OR 2 years of related labor experience (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced water transfer systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
