Lathe Operator Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Lathe Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lathe machines to cut, shape, and finish metal or plastic parts. You'll be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring every component meets our rigorous engineering blueprints and tolerances.

Lathe Operator Pay: $21-$25/hour depending on experience (Plymouth, MN)

Lathe Operator Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday

Lathe Operator Key Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, trade school preferred
1 year of experience operating [Manual/CNC/Turret] lathes.
Math Skills: Strong grasp of shop math
Precision: High manual dexterity and an "eye for detail" to catch deviations before they become scrap.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Lathe Operator Key Responsibilities:

Operations: Load raw materials and monitor the cutting process, making real-time adjustments to ensure accuracy.
Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect finished parts against blueprints.
Maintenance: Perform routine machine lubrication and cleaning; identify and report any mechanical irregularities.
Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
