Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do:

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:

High School diploma or GED required.
2-3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
Electrical knowledge, including but not limited to single phase 120v, three phase 480v and 24 VDC power systems.
