Mechanical Quality Inspector

Deployment & Decoupling Validation
• Verify site conditions (level ground, clearance, safe perimeter)
• Inspect jack positioning, chocks, tongue setup
Tower Tilt Readiness
• Confirm trailer decoupling and weather suitability
• Inspect outriggers, jacks, leveling
• Inspect mast equipment and winch cable condition
• Validate safety procedures and personnel positioning
Tower Telescoping Validation
• Confirm vertical alignment and stability
• Inspect cabling management
• Validate winch cable condition and safety stop functionality
Retraction & Tower Down Procedures
• Verify safe retraction setup
• Inspect controls and cable integrity
• Confirm proper tilt-down preparation
Transport Readiness
• Confirm all equipment secured and powered down
• Inspect hitch class, tongue weight, brake setup
• Verify lighting, safety chains, coupling integrity
Throughput Documentation
• Track and attach all digital and paper documentation required to perform the function of the duties listed above.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute standardized Part 1 checklist with zero-skip discipline
• Identify and escalate mechanical or installation defects immediately to onsite contacts
• Prevent downstream commissioning failures
• Ensure safe, compliant, first-time-ready trailers
• Handoff clean units for shipment to Part 2 commissioning team

Required Skills & Experience
Technical experience with mechanical systems or mobile equipment
Winch systems, jacks, outriggers, mast assemblies inspection experience
Detail oriented with proven ability to document and report information
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Deployable asset experience
