In this role, you will drive end-to-end engineering solutions-from concept through installation and startup-while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of complex process equipment across global sites
- Develop innovative solutions for high-speed manufacturing systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
- Diagnose and resolve issues in existing equipment, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Design tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies to support manufacturing processes
- Perform reverse engineering to improve or replicate existing equipment and components
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to develop, procure, and validate equipment and components
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, and training materials
- Train operations and maintenance teams on equipment usage, safety, and best practices
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing environments
- Proven expertise in designing high-speed manufacturing equipment, including fabrication, installation, and personnel training
- Strong experience in tooling design, fabrication, and mechanical assembly
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, and drawings)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement and working with tight tolerances
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (ACAD) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
