Job Description Summary

• Perform general labor to support our asphalt crews which include shoveling, raking, and maintaining a clean and safe job site. If you have any experience working as a ground worker, power broom operator, or skid steer operator that is a plus.

Requirements

• Physical ability to operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time. Normal shift is 8-12 hours.
• The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Properly follow all Company policies and OSHA guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project.
• Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery and other equipment used on the job site.
• Responsible for upkeep of tools and work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Out of town/county/state work may be required.
• Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Attitude/Cooperation: Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
